To Whom It May Concern.

My wife Barbara and I, have been practicing Tai Chi with Master Darryl Darley for about 5 years. When we first started, we looked for a good teacher in our local area. We wanted a teacher who would, not only have a good knowledge of Tai Chi but also have the enthusiasm to impart this knowledge onto his students. Darryl is truly a person who believes and lives his life through Tai Chi. His enthusiasm is on display in every class and he makes the effort to research and bring new material, to keep classes fresh and fun. He has structured his classes so that they cater for the absolute beginner to the more experience students. This is an important aspect to ensure that each person can enjoy the experience of learning Tai Chi without being bored or left behind. It is interesting to note that in our class we have all types and ranges of students, from the young to not so young (over 80s). We have some who are unsteady on their feet who come to improve their balance and the more active who are there to improve their fitness level and breathing. All this is combined within a very social, friendly, non threatening and definitely non-competitive environment.

If you are interested in learning Tai Chi, I can honestly recommend the Tai Chi Health  Club with Darryl Darley  as your teacher. We are all on our journey together as students and teacher, as we learn and practice Tai Chi. A way of life and a key to health and fitness.

To whom it may concern. I have been doing Tai Chi under the baton of Darryl, for over 5.5 years. I still enjoy it immensely, and hope to do it for another 5 years to come. I have been with Darryl’s North Haven class since it began 5 years ago. I enjoy it’s interesting variety of Tai Chi Form Shibashi and other exercises. Helpful to all parts of the body and mind. I have been attending Darryl’s Tai Chi class for 18 months and I absolutely love it. I  had wanted to learn for many years so when I found his classes after moving north I was thrilled. Darryl’s has many years experience and it shows in his teachings. Even if I arrive to class with a few aches and pains,they are generally dissipated by the end of the class. My balance has improved, tension eased and my sleeping has improved through learning the fantastic breathing techniques. I’ts a great gentle exercise no fast sudden movements or painful positions, and yet it stimulates the entire body and mind. I have found that one exercise routine that I will practice for the rest of my life. I have been going to Darryl’s classes for a couple of years now and they have helped me immensely. The low intensity exercises are just what I needed to contain my mid-back and neck ailments. Furthermore I find the movements help sustain good balance and flexibility, being particularity beneficial as we get older. What Tai Chi, has done for me – on my first visit, it changed my life. The calmness I felt run through my body and the energy, which I have never experienced before. The friends yo make are amazing. I have Asthma, I can say that I hardly ever use my spray. My balance WOW!! it has returned from when I was young. “How great is that” In fact my whole life has changed since I found Tai Chi. I saw a notice in the paper for Tai Chi and as I was having health problems decided to join 
the class with Darryl at Lake Cathie first and then at North Haven. I thank Darryl very much
for introducing me to the world of Tai Chi and I am now feeling a lot better and more relaxed.

Looking for something a bit different to Martial Arts or strenuous exercise I chose to give
Darryl’s Tai Chi lessons a go that was several months ago now I go twice a week and
practice at home. You could say I’ve become hooked. Tai Chi for me has improved my
